My youngest puppies are 7 weeks and I shaved their entire ear last weekend while grooming to help them stand. They look funny! I've always just shaved the top 1/3 until I read someone on here saying to shave all the way down to the base. Anyway, I found a great way to hold mine, but they are small. I put them on my lap and wrap my T-shirt up over their body and tuck it under them. I could feel their little bodies relax and I got them totally shaved without so much as a wimper. When I was done, I gave them a snuggle and praised them and they were running around like little jack rabbits again!
