My male was not neutered when I recently aquired him at 3 yos. He was a big time marker. I made an appt for his snip snip and wore belly bands on him in the interim. I am thrilled to say that now he no longer marks, we no longer need the belly bands, and he doesn't smell as much!!! He will even squat to pee outside sometimes. Needless to say, I am a happy, happy camper! I had several people tell me he would probably always mark but he doesn't---I'm thinking whether or not they continue varies dog to dog. Mine chooses not too.
