Hello.. I'm a new mom to 12 week old Chloe (female..
I have had her for 3 days. I love her to pieces! However, ever night since she has been with us, she has been throwing up between the hours of 11pm-3am anywhere from 2-3 times in a row almost. She seems to be very active and playfuk, when awake. However, when she is sleepy, she sleeps hard it seems. Meaning, if I try to awake her by gently picking her up and placing her in another location, she drops to the new spots, right back asleep instantly, like she never moved at all. Also, she seems to not be eating alot at all... I try to feed her the food her breeder had her on, almost 4-5 times a day...and she may only eat a few small peebles of food... she is drinking water ok it seems... She does not seems unhealthy to me....however these throwing up spells are starting to worry me... and she seems a little distraught after throwing up as well. Also, it seems after she throws up, she will poo almost right after. Her poo appears to be normal. I called her breeder yesterday, and she said that this was common w/ yorkies. She said it may be anxiety from being moved away, or nervousness.... I just don't see why it is only happening at night time only???? She was last seen by the breeder vet on 8/28/2006, (i have the paperwork) I am assuming she was fine, as the breeder explained. I will not be able to get her to the vet until the week after next unfortunatly. Is there any advise anyone can give please??? I love my little Chloe to bits and pieces and I can't bear to see her as a sick pup.... Has anyone had these same problems..? I have been doing as much research as possible!!! Please help!!!
