So...while I've decided that a Yorkie is what I want, I've not yet really spent any time with one! I have mild pet allergies - mostly cats, rabbits and horses. I was not allergic to my Bichon Frise, but a golden retriever will send me into a sneezing fit.
Please reassure me that yorkies are generally good for people with allergies - I've read that before somewhere and that's what I'm banking on here. I think it has to do with the type of fur (no undercoat) and the no shedding...the fact that they're so tiny can't hurt either!
I guess I just have to go spend some time with my breeder's dogs to make sure I'm okay with them. I hate allergies!
Anyone else in the same boat as me?
