What are her due dates? Just because she is large with pups,doesn't mean that interia will occur. It is more common for it to occur after the start of labor. Labor will proceed normally and then come to a stop. More often then not, it is after the first pup or 2 has been born. The uterus - which has been stretched to its limits, stays stretched after the pup is born and th euterus becomes inactive or shuts down.
I personally do not like to run my girls to the Vet if I do not know there is a problem. Too many germs even at the cleanest Vet!
