Please don't take this the wrong way, but from what I've read up on with yorkies, is you should really let them be "dogs". We took Rocky camping, and he had no fleas. If you give your dog baths and and keep him clean, he's not going to get nasty from going outside. Yorkies are very curious dogs, and from my understanding, you really should socialize him to the outterworld and let him be curious at times. In "The Idiot's Guide To Yorkies" it mentioned people that don't let their dogs be dogs, and some of the problems that they have in the future because of that. Rocky goes out alot (supervised) and we let him get dirty, but he's also very spoiled..it can go both ways!! I don't want you to think I'm telling you how you should treat your dog, I just want you to be aware of this.
