I'm so sorry for your loss. I do understand. I got my first (and only) Yorkie just a few weeks after losing my 15 year old toy poodle who was my "first-born". It was a good friend of mine (another dog lover) who helped me see that it wasn't "wrong" to get another furbaby so soon. A long talk with my long-time vet also helped me get through the decision. I think Tatum did help heal my heart and we don't regret getting her so soon. Wishing you all the best.....
