At 15 weeks - my puppy was still sleeping a lot. He'd played his little heart out - ate - went to the bathroom and then slept like a baby. The first week I had my puppy - I let him sleep as much as he wanted - and really tried not to bother him too much -- he got up to play a lot.
My pup has slept with me since the first night I got him. (And because he slept with me - he never cried at night....... just slept like a baby) My other dog sleeps with me also. My Yorkie will snuggle up with me and then move to the foot of the bed. My Bichon always sleeps at the foot of the bed - or off to the side. I think with his furry thick coat - he just gets too warm being close to a person.
As you guessed - I'm single - so there's plenty of room in my bed for me and two little dogs......
