QUOTE: She hasn't had any real bad experiences, but just gets real low to the ground whenever a dog comes up to her (if she doesn't know it).

This isn't fear -

My little Yorkie is afraid of nothing. He will run up to any dog as fast as he can get there -- but, the minute he gets there, he flops over on his back - kissing, licking, and his feet a flying. He'll even continue to do this with a dog that he has played with a dozen times. It's just his way of saying, - "Hi! I'm here - I'm friendly - don't bite me...." kiss kiss kiss!!!!!

My dog is just submissive around other dogs - and so is yours. No problem here. In fact, with our little Yorkies, I think this is a good trait. Too often these little dogs act like they can conquer the world - and you know they can't. And, unfortunately, they often get themselves in trouble with other dogs trying to act tough, barking, etc.

Your dog sounds sweet......
