There isn't a reason in the world that a dog can't have different stools from time to time without having any real problems.

There are many things that affect a dog's stools -- foremost diet - and the amount of food they eat, the amount of fluids they drink and their exercise level. It's normal to have occasional changes from time to time and it isn't always someting you need to worry about.

I know my Yorkie's stools change a lot and he's perfectly healthy. He eats a variety of foods and different foods every day - so I'm sure this accounts for any change in his stools.

Then - there's my other dog - he goes outside and I almost never ever see his stools -- and so, of course, I never worry about him. (This is probably the way it should be).

Do turn into a stool gazer!!!!! Let your puppy poop in peace!!

Yes - I know there can be times when our dogs are really having problems - but believe me - these are really few and far between.......
