I was warned by my breeder when I adopted Sully that yorkies have high resale values among dog-stealing "black markets" of sorts, and so never to leave Sully, at any age, anywhere that he could be taken because there are way too many people out there that want a cute little dog like Sully and even if he's microchipped it doesn't keep people from trying to steal him, ya know?
Wow that was one long run-on sentence. LOL. Sorry. But thinking about bad-guys stealing my baby has kept me from leaving Sully even on the screened in porch or taking him places in the car where I'd have to leave him in there alone even if only for a few minutes in the cooler months. Ya know? Sometimes paranoia is beneficial, lol.
