I was wondering about liver shunt myself as I'm not really educated on the problem. Is it something that is totally curable or is there a chance that it will come back? Does the dog live a long, healthy life after it's been fixed or is their life shortened because of it? Does it take special care and diet for a dog that has had one repaired? Are there other medical issues involved because of/connected with the shunt? |
