My ex-pen is set up on my carpet in the living room. For a liner, I bought the cheapest vinyl shower curtain I could find (about $6). It is very easy to clean. I also discovered that I can tape the corners of the pee pads to it, so Gracie can't play with them and move them all around. I just use packing tape. Finally, one small victory! Ha Ha FYI, I bought some kennel wipes at PetsMart. They are more than handy to keep next to the ex-pen, along with a roll of paper towels, for fast and easy clean up.
