My Yorkie is almost eight months old and I have been putting her hair in a topknot for about a month now. I have been wondering the same thing...I have been leaving it in all night and then let it out in the morning...I then put it back up once I have cleaned her face and eyes....I did wonder if she could get a bald spot with too much handling....I hope someone helps us out!!!! Great question!
