Daisy pooped in her crate when she was a puppy too. We knew the crate was too big for her but we felt mean leaving her in a tiny crate where she couldn't stretch out. A couple of times after we left for work we forgot something and came right back home. We found that each time she had pooped in her crate right after we left, and she was walking in it all day. We found out that she had separation anxiety and she was so nervous she couldn't hold it. She did grow out of pooping in her crate and she is mostly over the separation anxiety. She's 3 now and we are able to leave her loose in the house when we leave. Hang in there! |
