Um.. Jane, when was her last heat? She sounds like she is either pregnant or going through a false pregnancy. If she is indeed pregnant, she is VERY CLOSE to delivery, you need to have her checked out by a vet ASAP. If you don't intend to have puppies, you may want to have her spayed to prevent pyometria in the future...false pregnancies are hard on a girl hormonally and emotionally.
