I've been a hairdresser for many years and raised 2 daughters. You might suggest to your daughter with her build and a sleek dress, if she has a big hair do high on her head it will take away from her face,dress, and body. A really big intricate up do really isn't in style now either. I've done a lot of hair up in my carrier and have done the big styles with lots of curls ,but it takes alot of hairspray to hold it. You might use a jell for body and Got2beGlued 2 or max will hold anything. I would take her to a hair dresser and let them work it out.
