When the item was needed, you opened a door and pulled out the ironing board or the bed right out of the wall. Murphy beds are doing a come back but instead of building them into the wall, they build you a closet type amoire type structure (kind of like a big TV cabinet with doors, once the doors are opened you pull your bed out, great for family rooms and dens. I wanted one, so I bought one (double size in dog bed terms) for my girls. It will be this same exact bed that my handyman is going to copy. In case I haven't explained this right, put Murphy bed into your search engine, they have many sites to look at but one will give you a picture so you can get the idea. The girls love theirs now, but were afraid of it when it first came. I don't close it up tho ?!? so what was the sense ha ha, I will close it once I get mine built, I will close them both together
PS TO WILLOW ok holding you to it!
