Well, I picked up my 10 week old baby, Lucy, on Sat. She's beautiful! Her face from her eyebrows down looks like a sunburst! She's got some blonde coming in also. Her mom is blonde. She's a little firecracker, hopping all around. I learned a lot from ya'll and it really helped with her the first couple of days. She weighs 2.6 lbs. I looked up the chart and it said about 6 lbs when grown. Her parents are both 5 lbs. She hasn't had an accident! Hard to believe, huh? I put the pee pad over the litter in the litter box and she used it every time. Today I took the pee pad away and she did her business in the litter box. Took her outside (often to get rid of energy) and she did her business. Took her on the patio where the rocks and 1 green plant on each side are (screened) and she did her business right on the rocks. I couldn't believe it. She's very cudly and loves to be held after her walk.
The not so good news is that my male rat hates her. He growls and snaps. Missy is smelling her and seems to be adjusting. I'm not sure Chief ever will.
She has a brother twice as big as she is who's going for 400 if anyone is interested. He is as beautiful as she. Bob took him outside in the grass and got millions of pictures of him. Breeder will not put on plane- it's a 3 hr. trip to airport. She is a Mennonite.
We've been gone on our trip and so haven't kept up with everyone. Hope ya'll are ok. I have pics of Lucy and must figure out how to post them. They're on Picasso.
