I take my dogs to my son's college baseball games and I'm not sure they're really allowed there. I have a stroller so if it's really an issue they could stay in it but no one has ever said anything to me except my son whose embarrassed by the stroller!
To the woman who told you no dogs allowed in the park, my response to her would have been "what are you the dog police?" If you're bringing small dogs and you're leashing (or carrying in a carrier) and curbing them, why does she feel the need to admonish you?
