This is a hot topic all over Yorkie Talk today. I started one in the General Forum when I asked about breeding my Yorkie with my Sister's maltese. I go the same response about not breeding them.
I apologize but I think they make great looking dogs. I have seen some Morkies or yorktese that make some PureBred Yorkies look like the Rats that they used to hunt.
While I do love my purebred Yorkie and my sister loves her purebred Maltese. I would pay the same price I did for my purebred Yorkie as I would a Mutt morkie. Yorkies are great dogs. Maltese are great dogs. How can you go wrong mating them.
The only wrong thing is when they sell them as designer dogs, but they should be no reason if a person is honest that they shouldn't get the price of a purebred of either breed.
