First of all when 2 full breed dogs breed they are called a mix...not a "mutt". This is where the "designer dogs" come from. Although I do agree that they ask too much money for them (MO) that is up to who ever is buying the animal to make that decision. I agree....when I was growing up if the neighbors "beagle had an affair with the other neighbors "poodle" (interesting mix huh! lol) they would have been considered mutts...that is what we used to call them...now they are called mixed breeds...I don't hear the term "mutt" used much anymore...except for the older crowd.
