I did it for the first time on my parents dobies. I ended up paying around $21 for 3 puppies. I used Vanguard Plus 5. I lift the skin on their shoulders and poke right through the skin. I don't have the guts to do it into the muscle.
I just ordered more vaccines for when Joy has her puppies. I think she will only have 2 but I ordered a box of 25, came out cheaper per shot. What brand of vaccine do u use and what site do you get them at? I got mine at Valley Vet, they give you the pet health record sheets free with the purchase of a box of 25 vaccines. Oh and shipping was cheaper there $12 for next day shipping.
When I vaccinated the dobies I did it while they were eating they didn't even move, just kept eating lol.
I just hope I have the guts to poke my lil yorkies when they are born lol, small dogs are huge whiners.
