Most definitely!!! As everyone may know, I had and showed Dachshunds years ago and my husband had a Coonhound) I had wanted a Yorkie for years and my husband and 2 sons laughed at my wanting a "worthless, fru-fru" lap dog! My, my, how things have changed!!
Who has pictures of her on their phones, who walks in the door and sweeps her up saying "here's my baby girl"? In fact, the other night, my husband asked "why it took me so long to get a Yorkie?" These men make a bigger fuss over her and talk more baby talk than my daughters!! They all love taking her on "field trips" to the bank, or to visit friends and my husband loves taking her to Petsmart on the weekends to get a new toy. He comes home telling me about all the new "friends" she made, etc. There is a young couple that are friends of my kids..he's a 6'5", ex-probaseball player, and now football coach. You should see him down on the floor playing with their little Bentley. Yep, folks, REAL men do play and are owned by Yorkies too!!
