I haven't been able to get on in a while. Still fighting the state and trying to get back on my feet but I want to ask you to pray and send happy thoughts to moose and maybe some my way. She is progressing well in Service Dog Class and everyone I meet gets to hear she is my guardian angle, so I am not in the best form this morning.
I had to leave moose at the vets this morning.
Fri. my mom and moose and I went to the mall and she barfed on the way there. Sat. she didn't want to eat too much. I gave her 1 1/2 valium to calm her so I could groom her, but seemed to have no effect. I kept her food in my room over night and she ate but left some behind. Sunday we drove to St. Augustine, Fl about an hour from where we live. She seemed fine was liking the walk and the smells of different stores even helped me pick out 3 dress for the job I hope to get sooner or later. We did some target practice to get her use to the feel of putting her paws and different surfaces, register area. basket, ect. She would get a little bit of a treat, about 30 mins after her last treat, we were in a store and I had to pick her up and race out, she was getting ready to barf. Got outside just in time and there went the treats. My parents and lil bear and moose and I had early dinner in an outside area, gave moose a tiny bite of saltine she barfed it up and water. Came home, she would eat her food. Mixed in a little oatmeal and warm water and gave her just a tiny amount and everytime she barfed it up. I left it out last night, and woke up to about 6 barf areas apparently she wanted to eat but couldn't keep it down. I was making her rice and broiled chicken this am, gave her clean water with a pinch of Gatorade, I was eating on the sofa she drank a bit and then laid down and barfed and then stood up and barfed.
I am so nervous. The last time I left a pet at the vet due to being sick it was at that office and she died on the table(my bunny) through no fault on the vet. I feel like I am spiraling down, I took my meds, mom has me filling out paper work for her, I have some crafts to finish and a fiddler crab habitat to get ready. But I am still panicked. My bank account is going fast, the state is doing nothing to compensate me for their harassment, I have a money market account which thankfully I can transfer some into my checking account to pay my bills, and now with moose and the vet who knows how much that will be. I am feeling like I am going to have another nervous breakdown
