Does a responsible breeder in your area have a stud that has been tested and is clear pf STD's, luxating patellas, hips, PSS and the other genetic problems Yorkies are prone to?
I am not tellyou not to breed but I am saying that no breeding should be undertaken til the breeders have fully educated themselves to try and improve the likelihood of a safe and healthy pregnancy.. |
The motivation to breed is that she is just so damn smart.
She has impressed everyone from when I got her at 9 weeks by how smart, trainable and social she is.
If I were to breed her I would like for a male that is in perfect health like she is and defect free, but that also has her outstanding personality and wit. As for what I would be putting my pet through, I put myself though risks to have childern. I researched then as what to do when pregnant and got lots of advice. Something could of gone wrong there too. I taught one of my foster pom 96 words. All the family and friends would test her. She listened very well, but not like to be stared at or be around kids. With Mya she is just so well rounded behavior wise. She just has a wonderful nature about her that has people hoping that I would breed her one day. Time will tell
