Yes my mom does have a pc but doesn't use it for much other than work or emails, but I will tell her about this site once she gets her pup... If nothing else its fun to surf and learn thru prior posts and or just see lots of fun dog pictures
Buddy is doing awesome, still working on pad training tho, today i got this spray that supposedly somehow attracts the dog to the place i spray it to pee... Put out a new pad today sprayed it, let buddy roam, and went back a bit later and YES a big yellow stain - not sure if it was the spray or luck or the fact I put a new pad out or what but gonna see how this spray works for the next few days...
Now only wish we had a spray for pooping in the right area hehe... I have just invested in a hoover agility carpet cleaner (altho picking up after him is super simple and easy) just would like to keep everything fresh and the carpets needed it anyways...
Lots of praise and a treat when and if I do see him using the pads. He is still affectionate as heck (total lap/neck dog) and cute as a button to me, got him to "speak" on command for a treat in the last few days (about 10 mins a day I just repeat the phrase SPEAK and give him a treat if he does it) and after about 3-4 days of that he caught on quick...
Next will be sit, down, roll over, etc I want him trained to do lots of fun tricks my last dog was a mini poodle and he could do play dead, as well as walk walk walk (he would get on hind legs and hop as if to walk like us for about 10 feet).
I am confident Buddy will catch on with the pad training soon and hoping the spray helps, slow but sure I will teach him more tricks.
Time to get him groomed again, and shots are due at the end of this month again too, cant wait till our weather breaks a bit to take him out more...
My daughter who is almost 5 really enjoys him too, altho Buddy likes to try and dominate her because she is smaller I guess, if she gets down on the floor he tries to jump on her, but never hurts her just more like rolling around playfull stuff...
