Bless your heart! If it was hypoglycemia, they are supposed to be a grayish color. I only know that what your describing sounds like inflamed gums, but I'd look all around her mouth on the gum area to be sure. Usually, inflamed gums become that way when there is a huge plaque build-up. She's much too young for that. I don't know if it could be a sign of fever or not. You might research that.
