Yes, I imagine she is in heat if there is blood and she will lick herself down there to clean herself up. I think bellas first heat was at 11 months, she just recently had her 2nd. I think the bleeding last about 2 weeks and then they are still in heat and swollen another week. I am sure somebody else on here could tell you more.
The blood does end up getting messy so i would recommend a doggie diaper you could order on drsfoster and smith.
and definately keep her away from any males, they will go nuts!!! keep an eye on her if you take her out potty, wouldnt just let her out alone. |
