Yorkies eyes shine
green when a flash picture is taken, or the light shines on them from an angle, so you can count on that much .... hope this helps you ...

Green eyes shining back at you are a sure sign that you have a silky-coated Yorkie. You can see the green eyes in two ways. Sometimes, if the dog is standing in a semi-dark area and light shines on his eyes, the eyes will reflect back green. They will also show up green in photographs taken at certain angles. Wooly-or-cottony coated Yorkies have more of a reddish/brown eye under these circumstances. (although my yorkie is not a silky and her eyes shine green.)
