coincidence as ALL dogs with a tapetum will shine green no matter what breed of dog let alone what there fur is like. if you have another breed of dog shine the light in there eyes and you will see the same thing or ask a friend with a different breed of dog. its cos the light has to pass through the eye of a dog twice where with us its once.
