thanks for your input. You may not know but Silk's baby was my very first attempt at breeding. I research for over a year before even bought a yorkie and have been researching ever since. Still learn something everyday from fine breeders such as yourself. i don't plan on showing. Not even remotely interested. I have been involved with my husband in breeding and training his Field champion beagles for about thirty years so i do have him for support. of course, these little guys are a whole different ballgame. I also live in a very rural area and right now am just trying to plan ahead. You know something, most people around here have never heard of a Judabob dog or any other bloodline. They sell pets for something like a thousand dollars and can't tell you anything about them. i called about one today just to get an idea of going prices and lines that are out there. I told the man that all my dogs are from the Judabob line, two having come from kathleen Parsley herself and he had no idea what I was talking about. Then he referred me to his friend that was selling 'chocolate yorkies which he said are very rare. I said, Oh my goodness, that is a genetic fault and he just laughed. oh no, those are very rare and very expensive he said. I just thanked him and hung up. Again, thanks for your response some day maybe i will be as experienced as you are but we all have to start somewhere and I am paying my dues.
