I have had Chewie since he was 8 weeks old. I had an older DOxie when I got him. Elmo, the Doxie was 15 and didn't like to play much. But he would play with Chew as he got older. But Chewie has a mean streak. He will be playing and all is fun then all of a sudden he goes "balls out" mad dog and starts fighting. Yes, I know the differnce between the two. He is definatly trying to hurt whoever is his target. He has been socialized with many dogs and most of the time there is no problem. He has been neutered, and for a while just seemed to pick on my daughters yorkie, who is not neutered but not aggressive either. Elmo passed away in June and now I have a Cockapoo puppy. SHe is only 9 weeks old and they are only together when closely supervised. He was doing real nice with her , then this afternoon he just jumped on her for no reason. I don't know what to do, I have never had to deal with this situation before. I have always had 2 dogs and they have always gotten along. I love my Chewie but I want him to play nice with others and I want to be able to trust him to be nice. Any suggestions? I forgot to add that Chewie is 11 months old now.
