OK maybe try this, it's silly, but get some fleece blankets. Loki loves fleece! I bought a couple cheap fleece blankets and I will sleep with them one night and then he "claims" them and will curl up on them wherever they are. Sometimes even after I wash our sheets (and fleece blanket) I will throw them on the couch until I fold them and he will make himself a little nest in the fleece. If I don't want him chewing his bully stick on the carpet I'll throw the blanket on the floor and he'll run over to it. It's worth a try! Plus they are so easy to wash and dry!
