I think she would chew the diaper off. How long are you gone? If it isn't for too long you might just want to try the crate alone, and be sure to tire her out before you leave.
But if is more than just a couple of hours I would not make her stay in a crate. I'd do the x pen, but still make sure she is worn out before you leave.
You could buy a small piece of vinyl flooring to put under the x pen, or maybe a tarp of some sort. but she might tear the tarp |
