Ok, I'm the dissenter here!!
I believe in "lust" at first sight, but not really a true love. I think you can make a special connection with someone immediately, but I think real love only truly comes after you know a person and you know all the good and all the bad and wouldn't trade them anyway. I think it takes time for that kind of relationship to develop. Ok, having said that, I met my husband when I was 16, married him at 20 and have now been married 22 years. I also didn't even like him the first time I met him...kinda thought he was a jerk...I quickly got over that though.
