probably just drinking too fast. i've known some dogs that do this. try not filling the bowl up too much when you know she's really thirsty so she doesn't slurp it all down. OR train her to drink out of a water bottle. i find it better then drinking from a bowl cause my pups beard doesn't get all wet.
