It has never happened to me but I have 2 stories to share:
My Dad met my Mom on a blind date when they were 15 & 17 and he told my uncle later that night he would spend the rest of his life with her. Unfortunately she passed away in 1990 but they spent 28 years of happiness together and I am sure he wouldn't change a thing.
Second story my brother met my SIL one night at a party and they fell in love were married after 4 months and just celebrated their 20th anniversary
Like father like son I suppose.
So I guess you could say I believe in it
