No problem. I found that when my Coco was a baby, I used it only when I was going to work. As she was only 1 lbs at 12 weeks, and I was always worried about her blood sugar level, which is another reason I free feed so she always had food in the event that she needed it. Once I got home I would no longer give her any because I was there to monitor her. Also once she hit 2.5lbs I stopped giving it to her (at the suggestion of the vet and breeder), except if she wasn't feeling well and not eating well, or when we'd go camping/lake, because she loses her appetite when her environment changes. She's 4 lbs, almost 5, but is still so tiny so I still carry it around with me JUST in case. I found it helped me tremendously, and I would do it again for my next puppy. I don't think it's JUST for tinies, I think small breeds in general, especially under 2-3 lbs need that kind of supplement to keep their levels balanced. But I guess everyone does things differently and that's ok too.
