That is way to young. First you need to have some nutrical on hand if you don't have none already. There is a chance that his ears will not go up. Timmy brought his ears up when he was 9 weeks old and has had them up ever since. Mimi is 5 months old and her ours are still down as you can see the pic to the left. She will have floppy ears but I love her anyway.

As far as the heating pad...I don't know...maybe someone else can help.
