Same here... I couldn't even crate train Pepper because he went in it no matter how small I made it. I got an xpen and set it up real small at the beginning, with space only for pee pad, toys, bed and food. At the beginning I let him roam but followed and when I spotted him doing potty dance I showed him where a pee pad was. Some pee pads I had to move as he picked his own corners to poop LOL. But now, yes, it's quite a pain to have a pad in each room, at least he went potty only on them for quite a while now (still very young, 3.5 months). Still, once I tried to remove a pad, he'd still go in the same spot, even with no pad there, that I don't know what to do with.....
