I agree w/both of you I totally agree......you have to decide exactly what your looking for a "Pet" or
"Breeeding Quality", even though a Dog has Champion Bloodlines/Pedigree you still have to look for the right features; health, temperment, personality, looks, hair quality etc. Puppies are deceiving thay are all cute & adorable especially Yorkie's! Unfortunetly alot of people get "Pet Quality" and decide to Breed once for the "Experience" or for the Family & Friends? My Neighbor brags to me how she bought 2 females for $550.00 a piece in Kentucky, but
they have crooked teeth and crooked/sway backs they only weigh 3 lbs. (sisters) floppy lop sided ears that she complains about (not me!) In most cases you get what you pay for? I think it's very important to do your own
"Reasearch" to determine your Preferences in the Breed? For some even their Coloring is a factor? We all have our likes and dis-likes but you should be aware of what they are? My Pet Peeve is the "Teacup" term, Breeders get more money just based on their size not their Quality! |
