We got Roxy the day of their first set of shots - 6 weeks old. She took her first walk around the neighborhood the next day. Then rode in the car for about 16 hours in my dtr's lap the following day with 2 cats and 2 birds while we moved to PA. She was not from a breeder and had no health guarantee. We are very lucky she is so healthy because I have always had outside mixed breeds and had no idea about all the problems the small breeds can have. I didn't know about hypoglycemia or anything until we joined YT. I am planning on getting another baby, but will take the advice of everyone on here and wait until it is a little older(altho that will be sooooo hard-they're so huggable when they are tiny). I will also be better prepared for anything that might occur. I am so thankful we found YT and learned so much about this breed. They are definitely addicting. Thank you so much YT members.
