Call your local poison control, and ask what problems the medication may cause. Then take him to the vet ASAP! Even if they cannot pump his stomach if the pills poisoned him in some way it may very well have affected the function of his organs, and his liver and he may need treatment! A swollen liver, fluid retention, etc could all cause him pain that would cause the yelping!
