I would leave dry and water out all the time for them. Even when they are eating dry I still worry about making sure they eat regularly at this age. I take dry kibble (which has been crushed up in a few processor), a very small amount of canned (not necessary) and warm water and give them this soupy mushy meal 3 times a day. I discard (let Nikki, the Alaskan Malamute finish it off) whatever they don't eat within 20 minutes. It's not a good idea to leave wet down because of the bacteria growth that occurs. |
