We had Pookie neutered when he was six months old, and he was back to his old self in a few hours without any problems. We had Boo Boo spayed when she was six months old, she spent the night at the vets and was back to normal within a day or two.
I'm very glad we had Boo Boo spayed when we did. The vet said her reproductive organs weren't normal and would have had to come out anyway. If you spay a dog before she reaches her first estrus cycle, it will completely eliminate the possibility of mammary cancer. |
