thanks. good ideas. my kitchen is 500 sq. ft. and it is way too big for him. I have trained all my other dogs to the outside and this is new to me. We have a miniature schnauzer that was only 3 lbs when we got her in Feb. and we still outdoor trained her. I find this indoor stuff really difficult. I feel like i'm confusing the puppy but am think of an ex-pen.
