I am also sending a large box of beds, sweaters, toys etc, to the Laurens Zoo Special Interest Donations (the organizaton that is taking care of chopstix) so if anyone has any extra items they would like to include just let me know. They said they could always use just about anything. If you would rather just send it directly to them I think their address is posted on the first chopstix petfinder post. |
Wow, that is just so awesome. Since you were going the EXTRA mile and doing this, I thought that I would give a little extra info and post the link to the Lauren's Zoo homepage.

And low and behold, look what she has posted:
"Our Featured Pet...

YEEEEEAH, YT!!!!!!!! I want to personally thank each of you, even though I am not personally connected, and previously knew nothing about this shelter. It sounds like they are doing a great work:
"Lauren's Zoo is an all species/breed caregiver to local homeless pets that are in need. We have a wonderful success rate with special needs animals (deaf, blind, amputee, etc). In the last 10 years, We have placed hundreds of animals all over the southeast; Our mission in life is to love, care, and PLACE animals who haven't been given a chance."
In closing, did I mention: YORKIE TALK RULES?!?!?!?!
