I know I'd read somewhere in this forum, to put the puppy where they can see you, most likely the busiest room in the house. And I also read to ignore them when they're screaming or crying, wait till they stop to give them attention. This did help me a lot.
I still have trouble when I go to bed at night, but not as much trouble as I did that first week I got her home.
