The only experience I've had with this was with my toy poodle. He was studded out once and produced a beautiful batch of roly poly babies. His demeanor in no way changed (he was always such a laid back calm little boy) but he started marking in the house so bad we had to start crating him when we were away from the house. Until then he had always had run of the house with a doggie door to the back yard. And let me tell you, in our experience, for some reason that urine smelled worse than before. He never did get over the marking thing and that's one of the issues I've read about a lot since then.
